Some people reckon ‘commercial landscaping’ means a ute full of gravel, some tanbark and plants that won’t die. But there’s more to designing outdoor spaces than knocking together a few planter boxes.
Our landscaping work can be broadly broken into ‘softscaping’ (plants and grasses) and ‘hardscaping’ (concrete, timber structures, paths etc). When we’re working with big corporations or city councils, we blend these two elements together. The end result should be something beautiful, functional and low maintenance. There’s no point installing a cottage garden if no-one’s going to water the frangipanis.
Here’s a few of our commercial landscaping services:
- Asphalt laying.
- Edging and excavation.
- Construction (pergolas, decking, rotundas, play spaces).
- Stone walls.
- Synthetic grass.
- Tree planting.
- Turf laying.
- Topsoil installation.
- Landscape design.
- Landscape maintenance.
We’ll usually start a landscape job with some good, old fashioned creative brainstorming. Then it’s onto the Design phase. We’ll draw up a quote, scope out suppliers and materials, draw up a timeline and handle the OH&S red tape. Size doesn’t matter too much. We can tackle pretty much anything: from backyard retaining walls or custom-built pergolas, all the way up to industrial excavation and large-scale concrete work.
Once the design’s signed off, we roll up our sleeves and get to work. The main thing during construction is sticking to budget, sticking to the timeline, and adhering to the relevant safety standards. But we’re always flexible: if you decide halfway through that the Silver Birch should go on the left, just let us know.
