The Vegemite factory had a large outdoor area what was centrally located but not being utilised as a useful outdoor space.
Early discussions with key stakeholders showed the site wanted to create a dynamic space that could be used for herb production for the site kitchen and outdoor meetings and workspace.
With a brief in hand GMA went to work on a design to achieve the desired outcomes required by Bega.
The proposed design included custom planter boxes for herbs and veggies enclosed by a picket fence, artificial turf areas with a basketball ring and outdoor seating and a large outdoor patio area with AV capabilities for events and presentations.
With some feedback and the design tweaked by the client, construction started. The project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule and on budget.
A great outcome and use of an underutilised area!
